RESEARCH-EXPERTISE AREA :
My principal research interest is sexual biology of schistosomes. I focus my research on male-biased sex-ratio, mating systems (monogamy vs polygamy) and sexual determinism. I also contribute to a better knowledge of parasite transmission in the field (host vectors, reservoir hosts, hybrid potentiality…). Finally, a more applied aspect of my research is done in collaboration with chemists on the development of new anti-schistosomal drugs.
